Kevin Missal wrote his first book at the age of 14, and at 22, the St. Stephens graduate has turned out to be a bestselling author and a full-time writer with the first two books in his Kalki series being runaway successes. Along with the Narasimha series being published by Harper Collins, his recent release with Penguin reimagines the fabled story of Sinbad the Sailor. Kevin loves fantasy fiction and has always been a fan of mythology. His books have been featured in publications like the Sunday Guardian, The New Indian Express and Millennium Post. He lives in Gurugram.
In his career spanning over 5 years in the education industry, Bijit Sinha has held the positions of a language mentor/coordinator and editor. Post-Masters in English from Delhi University, he had co-founded and conceptualized a collaborative writer’s platform, HookBlue, in collaboration with notable authors from the Big 5 publishing houses. His reimagination of Jataka Tales, co-authored with his students, was released by Half Baked Beans in autumn 2020. He is presently working on two more retellings of Indian classics, viz. Panchatantra and Hitopadesha, and a retelling of the Assamese folktale, Tejimola that pays homage to his home state. He aims to shed further light on regional literature in India.
